The days just fly by sometimes and before you know it, weeks have passed. I admit I am not good with updating this journal very much but man, after working all day and then doing some other work, I just need to get away from the machine for awhile. Although I do play WoW sometimes to let out the stress by killing things

Update on the foster kittens is good and bad. First I want to say, please people get your pets spayed/neutered! We have soooo many kittens this season that if people would just take the responsibility to take care of their pets we wouldnt have so many homeless. Yea yea, I have heard all the excuses and I know accidents happen but I just get so angry sometimes! Some people are like, well we have found homes for all our kittens. Yea thats great but those same people could have just as easily adopted cats from shelters that are already here. We dont need to bring anymore regardless of if they have homes.

That said, my foster kittens are doing great but I am so sad to say that I lost one a couple weeks ago I dont want to get into it that much but needless to say it really was a punch in the heart. No matter that I have been doing this for sooo many years, I always feel horrible when I lose any babies. It was sudden and we dont know why, but it happens and I can only take a deep breath and continue doing what I can for the ones still with me. The little lost angel was Howie, one of the twins. We buried him in the backyard next to the wild bell flowers. Rest in peace my sweet angel



His brothers and sister are doing great. They are fat and happy and although a bit on the small side, just such cute little buggers I will be taking them back to the shelter soon so they can be available for adoption. As you probably saw I have submitted some photos and there will be another of the third one, Hughie, submitted today or tomorrow. I love having babies around and will be getting another litter soon but need to take a week or so break before I do. Always good to take a little break between each litter because it is hard work!

My sweet Kiwi cat underwent her breast cancer surgery last month and is recovering. Unfortunately when the doc got in there he found more tumors than we thought He ended up having to take the whole string of mammary glands on the left side. We are hoping this will slow the spread of the cancer. While there is no cure, we can do all we can to keep her as well as possible and her quality of life the best it can be until we can do no more. But she is doing good for now considering her belly has 25 staples. She got an infection because of it and had to go on meds but they are doing the job. Here is a shot of her incision:

Luna is doing wonderful! She is growing so fast and learning very well. She is still bratty though LOL! My mom was visiting not too long ago and brought Dozer, Lunas brother and they just had a blast! Was insane having the two pups running around the house and the cats were like freaked out but it was fun. Dozer is a lot taller than Luna and his name suits him well as he bulldozes into everything. This is one of the sweet shots I got of Luna and her brother Dozer, one of the few times they were quiet LOL!

This and that of other things going on too but not enough time to get into here. Been working on landscaping the area and the garden, both of which are doing so good! Its hard work but very rewarding and the food and flowers that will come will be fantastic!

Quick question before I go. Why is it the subconscious feels it necessary to sometimes give you dreams about someone you hate? And in the dream, while its too weird to really explain, you are with the person you hate? Man dreams can mess with your head at times I have always been an avid dreamer and always seem to remember them as well. While its cool sometimes, other times I just wish I could forget them when I wake up instead of having them linger with me through the day!
