I dont have much time these days but I have started a new series involving flowers that are no bigger than my fingernail- most barely even bigger then a pencil eraser! I am enchanted by these miniature beauties. Most of us pass these by on a daily basis - never noticed because they are so very small, and most of the time considered weeds. While I was sitting in the grass the other day waiting for my next class, I started taking a closer look into the grass around me and noticed these little flowers. I couldnt believe all the different varieties once I started looking around. I must have looked pretty silly crawling around on all fours with my face close to the ground

I came back after class and started taking some pictures of them - thank gawd for macro lenses! I managed to capture a good many shots of the little ones - this one being the first I will submit. Its amazing how larger than life they look in the photos considering how very small they are in real life. I want to have these available for prints as I have some plans for them.

I have recently been disabling comments and I am sorry if that cuts you off from leaving your thoughts. I truly appreciate all the support you have given me - its just with being as busy as I am, it limits me from my interaction here on DA and I dont feel fair asking for things that I cannot return at this time. I wasnt even going to submit because of the lack of my being able to respond but I need these available for prints. All that may sound silly or whatnot but thats just how I feel
